Old Stores
The Old Stores is a Georgian house conveniently located adjacent to the town square in the heart of historic Montgomery where the garden was once used as cattle pens for the market!
Refurbished in 2019 owner Ruth opened for business in 2020. With two king size bedrooms, both have spacious bathrooms with rain showers and baths. There is a drawing room and courtyard garden for the exclusive use of our guests, as well as ample choice of books and board games. Hand woven carpets and original art are found throughout the house, as well as retained period features.
Montgomery is the perfect base for outdoor activities, you can explore Offa’s Dyke and many other beautiful local walks and cycle trails of varying distances. Welsh border attractions, the Shropshire AONB and the Welsh coast are all conveniently accessed by car.
We offer a luxurious getaway with Egyptian cotton sheets, beautifully scented toiletries and delicious locally sourced breakfasts. Come and stay with us for that special treat!
